SUMMARY:
Provides data support, integration, training, staff communication and other relevant assistance relating to a vast variety of data systems (school calendar, attendance, etc.), in use by the District and evaluates their respective efficiencies and applicability to the ongoing needs of the District.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work cooperatively with campus data staff, administrators, and central office staff to monitor and maintain high quality student data accuracy and integrity within the district student information system.
- Monitor campus data staff's activities related to maintenance of students' registration documents and permanent cumulative record.
- Assist with all campus functions related to maintenance of student data within the district’s student information system, including enrollment, attendance, scheduling, grade reporting, records exchange, and state reporting.
- Provides support and acts as key systems administrator/liaison to Synergy data services for YLN (library databases), HMH (Scholastic Database), CRDC (civil rights data-completed bi-annually), ADE, AzEDS, Blackboard Connect-Ed, state assessments, FastBridge, Clever, the Galileo Assessment System (including legacy scanners) and other educational systems as they are on-boarded
- Serve as a policy and procedural resource for campus data staff related to student registration, enrollment, scheduling, attendance, and grade reporting.
- Plan, develop, and present training for campus data staff throughout the school year, including development of operations manuals and other training materials.
- Assist with system testing and data validation.
- Work collaboratively with others, in a wide variety of circumstances, to analyze data, compile accurate and detailed reports, and provide explanation of data.
- Maintain a wide variety of documents, files and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date information for campus and central staff reporting.
- Participate in meetings, workshops and seminars for the purpose of increasing personal knowledge and expertise to support department initiatives and goals.
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, along with patience, a customer friendly attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work cooperatively with campus and central office staff to monitor and maintain student data accuracy.
- Ability to work with a wide diversity of individuals to disaggregate and interpret data of varied types and/or purposes.
- Ability to use computer software in word processing, data entry and extraction, generation of reports, and Excel for data disaggregation and reporting.
- Ability to develop, organize, and communicate information and concepts for various presentations for a variety of audiences.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks successfully to meet established timelines and deadlines.
- Experienced in data entry and management.
- Work with detailed information/data; and maintain confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (USA equivalent).
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years previous data related training experience
- Any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that meets minimum requirements
- Criminal justice/Fingerprint clearance
Computer Proficiency:
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer programs such as in Office 365, Google, and virtual communication platforms.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Indoor office environment. This position regularly works indoors. The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet to moderate and may become excessively noisy at times. Will have contact with employees, external agencies and the public.
